Terms of Service.
These terms govern your use of the Carolina Signal Co website (carolinasignal.co) and the services we provide. By using the site or hiring us, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or our services.
1. Who we are
"Carolina Signal Co" ("we", "us", "our") is a digital services company operated by Brandon Duckworth and based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
2. Services we offer
We offer three core services:
- Fix My WiFi — residential WiFi troubleshooting, optimization, and installation across the Carolinas.
- Website Creations, Brand & SEO — custom websites, brand identity, and search optimization for small businesses in the Charlotte–York County metro.
- AI Automation — business process automation including lead capture, intake workflows, follow-ups, and reporting.
Pricing, scope, timelines, and deliverables for any specific engagement are defined in a written proposal or statement of work. That document controls if it conflicts with anything here.
3. Website use
The content on this site — text, images, logos, and code — is owned by Carolina Signal Co or licensed to us. You may view and share it, but you may not copy, republish, or use it commercially without permission.
Don't use the site to do anything illegal, to attempt to disrupt the service, to send spam, or to scrape it for commercial purposes.
4. Contact forms and inquiries
Submitting an inquiry through our forms does not create a client relationship or obligate either party to anything. We'll respond with next steps and a proposal if it's a fit. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the information you send us.
5. Client engagements
- Scope & pricing. Every engagement is defined by a written proposal. Work outside that scope is billed separately and agreed in writing.
- Deposits. Most project work requires a deposit to start. Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.
- Ownership. Final deliverables become your property once the engagement is paid in full. We retain the right to reference the work in our portfolio unless you tell us otherwise.
- Third-party services. Some engagements rely on third-party platforms (hosting, domains, automation tools). Those are billed by the provider directly and governed by their own terms.
6. WiFi repair service
Our $75 intro diagnostic covers assessment and basic tuning. Additional labor, parts, cabling, or equipment is quoted on-site before work proceeds. We aim to leave your network measurably better than we found it, but outcomes depend on factors we don't control (ISP service, building materials, existing equipment).
7. Payment
Invoices are due on receipt unless the proposal states otherwise. Unpaid balances past 30 days may incur a 1.5% monthly service charge and pause ongoing work.
8. Warranties and disclaimers
We bring care and competence to every engagement, but the site and our services are provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee specific business outcomes (rankings, lead volume, conversion rates) since those depend on market conditions and factors outside our control.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the site or a given engagement will not exceed the amount you paid us for that engagement in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Carolina Signal Co harmless from claims arising out of content you provide, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with written notice. You remain responsible for work performed and costs incurred through the termination date. We may suspend the site or services at any time for maintenance, security, or compliance reasons.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
